Management of Kidney Disease
Chronic kidney disease is a condition of decreased function of your kidneys over time. Your kidneys have an important job, which includes removing waste and extra fluid from the blood. When your kidneys do not work as well as they should, the waste builds up in the blood, which then makes you sick. High blood pressure and diabetes can cause kidney damage, so can kidney infections and certain medications. At Richmond Nephrology Associates, our role is to help manage and treat your chronic kidney disease and the associated complications that result.
