Dr George joined Richmond Nephrology associates in April of 2019 after practicing in Midwest and Southwest Virginia for 8 years. He has extensive training and had completed his Internal medicine residency in Carilion Clinic in Roanoke and his nephrology fellowship at University of Virginia Charlottesville. He was awarded the best outgoing fellow in the Department of Medicine at UVA. He also has completed his General Surgery Internship at the Montefiore Medical Center NY from the prestigious Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He has held leadership positions in the hospitals at Southwest Virginia.
Dr George specializes in treating various kidney diseases and strives to provide comprehensive and quality care to all his patients. He has special interest in glomerular diseases, acute renal failure and hypertension and is a Certified Hypertension specialist. He has been recognized as Fellow of American College of Physicians, and Fellow of American Society of Nephrology. He is the medical director of the West End Unit.
Dr George will be seeing patients in the West Broad location.
